A British Education Where Every Learner Rises
El Shorouk means sunrise — and that is exactly who we are. EBIS El Shorouk is the newest British campus of The Egyptian Schools, a family that has taught for life since 1994. We carry the same values, the same standards and the same Cambridge pathway as our sister schools in New Cairo and 6th October.
What makes us different is our size and our energy. We are a growing campus where every teacher knows every child by name, where new ideas are tried this term — not next year — and where students help build the school they want to belong to. This year we celebrate five years on the Shorouk campus.

Why EBIS El Shorouk?
Our growing campus offers a new room for your child to grow—small enough to know every child, yet connected to a network trusted since 1994. Through our clubs, Houses, and student council, we give every child a voice, all backed by a leadership team that answers parents quickly and plans the year openly.

Our Curriculum
We follow the British curriculum from Year 1 to IGCSE, built on Cambridge International frameworks.
- Primary (Years 1–6): Cambridge Primary in English, Maths and Science, with ICT, Art, Music, PE, French and German. Year 6 students sit Cambridge Primary Checkpoint.
- Lower Secondary (Years 7–9): Cambridge Lower Secondary, preparing students for the step into IGCSE.
- IGCSE (IG1 onwards): International GCSE, AS and A Level with Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and Oxford AQA — recognised by universities in Egypt and worldwide.
Arabic, Religion and Social Studies follow the Egyptian Ministry of Education, so students stay rooted in their language and culture.
