Superintendent letter
Dear Egyptian Schools Community,
I am writing to you today to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Egyptian Schools. Over the past three decades, our schools have made significant progress in advancing education, continuous development, and commitment to student welfare.
I am proud of our students, past and present. Over 8,000 students have graduated from Egyptian Schools, and each graduating class has shown more growth, development, and fortitude than the last. Our students are prepared with the important 21st century skills they need to be successful in college, career, and life. They are also equipped with the ethical traits and morals that will make them positive contributors to society.
I am proud of The Egyptian Schools’ dedicated and professional faculty and staff. Egyptian School educators work with passion and care to ensure fairness, give opportunities, support students, facilitate learning in the best way, and recognize the strengths and individual capabilities of each child. Across Egyptian School campuses every student can and should learn and is given the guidance and tools needed to reach their greatest potentials. At the Egyptian schools, the student is at the center of each and every decision
I am proud of our parents, who support and believe in our mission and vision. The mutual trust and strength in our home-school relationship is a cornerstone of our success. Parents are our partners in the exceptional journey that is their child's education. Their faith, engagement, feedback, and resources are invaluable.
I am proud that across the buildings and campuses of The Egyptian Schools whether National, British or American, educators always aim to achieve excellence in teaching; to equip students with the academic and life skills, ethical traits and morals needed for success; and to give students the opportunities to discover the best parts of themselves.
I am proud of an incredible 30 years and look forward to what is yet to come for the entire Egyptian Schools community. I am confident that our schools will continue to advance education, continuous development, and commitment to student welfare for many years to come
Thank you for being a part of the Egyptian schools community
Sincerely,
Mervat Bassiouni
The school superintendent
