School Opening–KG1δ2–2025–2026

Dear KG Parents,

We are so happy to welcome you to the 2025-2026 academic year!

We are incredibly excited to have our students back to school

We look forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our students can achieve their highest potentials and thank you for your support in advance.

Make sure to mark your calendar with the following important dates and information as we approach the return to school! Read the following thoroughly for information about:

- Orientations

- Book distribution

Parent Orientations:

All parents will soon receive orientation PowerPoints about what to expect in the 2025- 2026 academic .

2. Books and supplies

KG Parents will pick up students’ books and drop off all students supplies in the lower elementary and KG building from Sunday, 31^st August till Wednesday 3^rd September from 10:00 am till 1:00pm entrance through gate 5.

Please make sure to label all supplies,

Please make sure that you have finalized any outstanding finances to avoid delays in receiving your students’ books.

First day of school:

· All students should come to school accompanied by their parents at 10:00 am, entrance through gate 5, dismissal will be at 12:30pm (bus and gate).

· Parents can accompany students to their classes

All bus students MUST use the bus to go home on their first day of school.

Starting their 2^nd day:

Student hours will be from 7:30-12:30 till Thursday September 11^th as we cover school and subject orientations. Normal school hours of 7:30-2:30 Sun-Wed

(Thurs7:30- 1:00) will begin on Sunday September 14^th.

The school uniform

Students should come to school in full school uniform trimmed, short hair (boys), pulled back hair (girls) with only completely plain black or white shoes (shoe logo and soles must be black or white too).

Gate Cards:

All KG parents of gate students will receive a gate card that they should present daily in order to pick up their children by the end of the day.

Gate cards will be available for pick up on the first day of school by parents.

1.Fill for All new students

2.Fill for old students only if there is any change in medical situation.

KG2 Welcome Letter 2025–2026

Dear KG2 parents/ guardians,

Welcome back! We hope you had a restful and enjoyable break. As you begin getting ready for the new school year, we’ve put together this letter and the following links to help you prepare smoothly and confidently for your return.

Please note that SCHOOL HOURS HAVE BEEN UPDATED for the 2025-26 academic year to 7:30 – 2:30 Sunday through Wednesday and to 1:00 pm on Thursdays.

An orientation will be held for new parents to ensure that all parents are well oriented with all of our systems, platforms, policies and procedures.

You will be receiving links to updated school handbook as we approach the new academic year. You may reference the handbook on the school website.

It is important to check your email and visit the website regularly for important updates. All information regarding school events will be made available on the school website. Make sure to visit www.els-egypt.com and follow us on social media.

Please make sure you have a working email address registered with the school as all correspondence is via email.

The second installment of fees is accepted from August 1 through August 25. Accounting office is opened daily from 9am-1pm (Sunday Aug 31 is a day off)

All students should have access to their own laptop or tablet to be used for school needs. Access to digital tools, internet and a printer are required for all grade levels.

Upon return to school:

The school uniform can be found at Child’s Mall: 25 Dr Mahrouki street- Aswan Square-Agouza-Mohandeseen. (https://www.facebook.com/child... )

(Note only black or white shoes are allowed)

Bus Slips (with pick up and drop off info) will be emailed to bus students the week of August 24^th.
