EAIS Reading Week
Between the pages of a book is the loveliest place to be!
Each and every year, we eagerly look forward to our Reading Week. At EAIS this year, everyone has come together to make this an incredible week. Every grade level has had an opportunity to spend this week filling up on as much reading as possible. Whether it was picking up a new book or diving back into an old on, the beauty of reading was everywhere to be seen in our halls.
Our students also had a wonderful opportunity to bring their favorite characters from the books to life, dressing up as those very characters and showing off their magical costumes in our Reading Week Parade.
To keep up with our very active week, parents, teachers and school leaders visited classes for a unique story telling experience. Our older students came together for our exciting peer-reading activities with our young ones in the playground where both age groups had a chance to learn from each other. Older students showed the little ones that reading is a blessing and our little ones showed just how good of a feeling is to read to someone.
