The DELF
The Delf (Diplome d’Etudes en Langue Française) is an official qualification awarded by the French Ministry of education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language. DELF is composed of 4 independent diplomas that correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
At each Level, 4 skills are evaluated: Listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Successful candidates receive a certificate identical to the general public version.
At The Egyptian Schools the DELF course is a great success as hundreds of students participate at levels A1, A2 and B1. Students take the DELF course with The Egyptian Schools teachers and sit for the exams on campus. The Egyptian Schools organizes an annual educational trip to Paris for the DELF participants.
We firmly believe that parents are vital partners in the education process so communication between the school and home is essential.
The means of communication are as follows:
Volunteering
The Egyptian Schools welcomes volunteers from our community to share their knowledge, experience and contribute to our students’ learning experience.
Parents, former students and community members are invited to volunteer to participate in the following ways:
Our dear parents volunteered in our character building sessions and talked about their professions.
They fulfilled our objective, as we teach for life, in assisting our students to reach their goals and widen their scope to know different kinds of professions that would help them in their real life.
Attending School Events
Parents are invited to attend different school events to share their children’s success and discovering their capabilities and getting the best out of them.
PTA Parent Teachers Association
PTA is a clear authorized channel that plays on creating this kind of link that would tighten the bond between administration and family members in a professional way.
Parents Meetings
Regular parents meetings are arranged to give updated feedback to parents Dates arranged for these meetings are mentioned on the school calendar. These meetings take place in classrooms and are meant to discuss student performance.
