Dear EAIS Distinguished Students, Parents and Educators,
Our engagement of all stakeholders (parents, students, and educators) is the keystone in our journey of continuous improvement, and it is one of our main goals this year as a school and a system.
By the end of each semester our school leaders come together to discuss the school SWOT analysis, including the points of strength and the points that need reinforcement in order to achieve our ultimate goal of continuous improvement, this analysis is based on a lot of important factors including the results of parents, students and teachers’ surveys, some focus groups held with stakeholders, analysis of students’ academic and behavioral progress, and day to day observation by leaders and quality control teams .
Overall, the data collected was very positive. The points of strength kept from last year included the strong school unified educational system and communication policy, as well as the school family caring community at large. The points that showed development this year included increased level of student’s engagement inside classes and in different co and extracurricular activities, Improved 21st century skills specially leadership and collaboration, improvement in high school counseling and career orientation programs, enhanced students ‘discipline and increased benefit and engagement of students in school trips. We are proud that EAIS stakeholders voiced such trust in the school system, its rich skill based academic curricula, and its caring staff members, teachers and leaders.
There was also enthusiasm amongst respondents regarding efforts to advance improvement in certain areas including:
- Focus on enhancing life skills through our lesson plans and different events.
- Better implementation of character development programs.
- Enhance students’ self-discipline.
- Enhance our school library as an important resource for students learning.
- Make use of available digital resources effectively and efficiently.
Thank you again to everyone who took the time to share and communicate his or her opinion. This is a great community and it’s pleasing to see such positivity amongst our stakeholders towards our School.
Sincere regards,
Mrs. Mervat Bassiouni

EAIS Celebrate 100 Days of School
Dear EAIS Students and Parents,
As we reach the exciting milestone of 100 days of school, it's time to celebrate the journey of learning, growth, and fun! To mark this special occasion, we invite all students to participate in our "Dress 100 Days or 100 Years Old" event.
On Wednesday February 28, 2024, we encourage students to showcase their creativity by dressing up in outfits that reflect either 100 days of school or make them look 100 days or years old. This can include dressing as wise centenarians or a 3-and-a-half-month-old baby or imagining how they might have looked after 100 days of fantastic learning adventures.
This event will allow students to express their personalities and celebrate the achievements of the past 100 days.
Let the creativity flow, and let's make our 100th day of school a memorable one! We look forward to seeing your creativity and imagination!! A parade and friendly competition will be held during the break, and we will follow a normal schedule of classes for the day.
Thank you for your continued support, and here's to many more days of learning and laughter ahead!

EAIS-October-Statement from the Egyptian Schools
Dear Egyptian Schools Community,
We hope this letter finds you well. As you may be aware, there is currently a humanitarian crisis in Palestine that has affected many families and communities. As a school community, we feel it is our duty to support those in need during this difficult time.
To show our support, we have decided on a number of actionable items to allow our community to feel that they can make a difference in such difficult times.
- - The planned after school parties in EAIS, EBIS and IG will be canceled in honor of families facing loss.
- - The school will conduct Salat al Gha’ib on a weekly basis.
- - A large portion of any financial proceeds from upcoming school events will be donated to the Red Crescent. (ex.Family Day, Canteens, etc)
- - A large portion of all charity campaigns will be donated to the Red Crescent (currently Donate to Educate)
- - In addition to this, we will also be opening a new line for donations directly to the Red Crescent. Each building reception will have a donation box where you can contribute to this cause. We encourage everyone to give what they can, no matter how small the donation may be. Every little bit helps.
(The Red Crescent is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance and support to those affected by crises such as the one currently happening.)
We believe that it is important for us as a school community to come together and support those who are in need. By doing so, we can make a positive impact and help those who are struggling during this difficult time.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
N.B: Details of returning tickets of the welcome party will be announced to students
Sincerely,

ELS CHARITY – Introduction to Charity Campaigns 23-24
At the Egyptian Schools we believe in having an active role in the community. Since our mission & vision is teaching for life, our Helping Hands Charity Campaigns are designed to incorporate elements that would implement and enhance students’ life skills and the 6 keys.
With a focus on citizenship, these campaigns grow within our students respect for differences, empathy and awareness of surroundings, responsibility towards community, and an understanding of the concept of giving back, creating the cornerstones of a good citizen.
Through organized charity and community service programs our students' learning includes but is not limited to:
- teamwork, project management & decision making
- critical thinking and reasoning
- fundraising & marketing
- public speaking and presentation skills
This is of course in addition to instilling the core sense of responsibility for those less fortunate than themselves in the community.
Each of the Egyptian Schools’ Helping Hands campaigns is student run and guided by mentor teachers and staff.
The following are the 7 campaigns for the 2023-24 academic year.
1) Donate to Educate (October- December)
This campaign aims to raise money for governmental students in the surrounding area to pay to sit for government exams. Last year we surpassed our target by more than double and were able to pay for 425 students. This year we aim to help 500 students and this year we have added a special garage sale to be help even more!! Students from grades 5,6 and 7 will lead this campaign.
2) ELS Foster (Ongoing Process)
ELS will be responsible for specific orphanages within the vicinity of each campus. Students from grades 10 and 11 will lead the Egyptian Schools community in working together to meet their needs through visits, activities, donations and fundraising. We look forward to our groundbreaking Foster Iftar in Ramadan!
3) Dolab el- Kheir (November -December)
The Egyptian Schools community will donate packaged clothing and blankets to various local orphanages as well as Masr El Kheir. Students help to organize, package and deliver the donations ensuring ways to make others happy. Grade 8 students will lead this amazing program targeting to collect and distribute 2500 pieces.
4) Kolena Mesa7araty (December through March)
This is a grand scale Ramadan bag campaign that targets specific rural areas. Students collect donations, buy items in bulk, and the entire school community helps pack and distribute the bags. With increasing costs we commit to meet a target of 1500 bags and have added donation of food items to our program. High school students from grades 10, 11, and 12 will lead the school community in this endeavor.
5) Carnival (March)
Students literally work to raise money for this campaign. Via a weekly school canteen students plan, fundraiser for, and produce their own play. Additionally grade 9 students organize an annual themed carnival. All profit from the plays and carnival are donated 100% to the entity chosen which will be announced later.
6) Family Day (December)
Following in the footsteps of their grade 9 peers, grades 5 & 6 are the organizers of this amazing family event that includes a marathon, sports tournaments, student shows and a bazaar. Elementary families from all branches join in creating core memories and contributing to charity!
7) Community Service (Ongoing process)
In addition to charity, each individual school is committed to various community service activities designed to engage students in interactive activities that go beyond money collection. You will receive more elaboration on these activities.
Note the timeline of the projects above and mark them on your calendars. Together, the Egyptian Schools Helping Hands community can make a tremendous change.

EAIS COGNIA Accreditation Announcement
Dear EAIS Parents & Students,
One of the things that sets EAIS apart is our dedication to improvement.
This year our improvement journey will take us through an accreditation process that is incredibly special as we become accredited not only as a school but as a school system under the name of EEDP (Egyptian Education Development Projects). Postponed from March 2020, we will host our first ever Virtual Engagement Review the week of November 1, 2020.
This type of accreditation that is granted for very few schools in Egypt and the Middle East ensures total unification between both branches of EAIS and will grant accreditation for any new EAIS branches that will open in the future.
Thank you for your continuous feedback, partnership and support.
