Class of 2027 Senior Trip “It’s the memories we make with others that are forever written in our hearts.”

We are so excited to announce that after research and feedback from the senior class that the Class of 2027 Senior Trip Destination is PARIS & BARCELONA from December 11-16! The trip duration is 5 nights/6 days.

To ensure that the trip is successful and organized the process will begin immediately!! Participating students must submit the following by SUNDAY OCTOBER 4TH. - signed parent consent and data sheet (found at the end of this letter) - copy of valid passport - the first installment - choice of transit or direct flight If passport is not ready, please notify your administration immediately as it must be ready for the VISA appointment.

 

Kindly note that all future information regarding the trip will be communicated directly with the students. This trip is not only a learning experience outside the classroom; it is also an opportunity for students to develop responsibility, accountability, and independence. By communicating directly with students rather than parents, we are giving them the autonomy to manage their own affairs, make informed decisions, and take an active role in their own experience. Students will have the opportunity to communicate directly with the administration, articulate their needs and concerns, and seek clarification when necessary. This approach will also help students develop problem-solving and criticalthinking skills, while encouraging them to take ownership of their actions and decisions. Ultimately, we want students to understand that responsibility comes with independence—and that being given greater autonomy also means being accountable for the choices they make.

Only students attending the upcoming SAT/EST trial this weekend will be granted excused absence for Wednesday 30 September only , upon presenting their exam ticket to the floor supervisor. 3. Any student absent without an official excuse, will face the following consequences: A. No repeated work: Lessons, explanations, and classwork covered will not be re-taught or repeated for unexcused students. B. Loss of marks: Any missed classwork, quizzes, or participation points will be recorded as a zero, which will directly impact their GPA. C. Warning for the future: If this coordinated skipping happens again, it will lead to further disciplinary action. We expect students to take their responsibilities seriously and follow school attendance rules. Please note the following regarding high school gate students:

1. Students will use Gate 3 for entrance in the morning and dismissal in the afternoon


2. Students should enter through gate 3 between 7:30 and 7:50 am.


3. After 7:50 students will be considered late (between 7:50 and 8:05), they are allowed 3 tardiness per year, after the 3^rd time they will be sent home.


4. At 8:05 all school gates will be closed, and no students will be allowed.


5. Dismissal in the afternoon will be through gate 3 at 2:30 pm (1:00 pm on Thursday for grade 10) (both white and bule cards).


6. Blue card students should present their cards daily to be allowed out of the school premises.


7. Students should leave immediately after dismissal (No gathering in front of gate 3)


8. For students who have lost their gate cards or forget it for more than 3 times, a new gate card will be issued, and fees will be charged automatically and recorded in the finance office.

In order to enjoy a memorable evening we ask our guests to please note the following:

• All guests and students are to enter from GATE 1.

• Entry will be with physical ticket ONLY. We will not be able to scan photographed tickets.

• Note that QR codes will be deactivated after the first scan. They cannot be used for re-entry.

• No re-entry is allowed from outside the permitted area or after exiting the event premises.

• Doors open at 4:30pm

• Tickets cannot be held at the door.

• Doors will close for guests from 5:50 until the graduation procession is over.

• Seating will be on a first come first serve basis. When seats in the main hall have been filled, the upper hall will be opened for seating.

• Reserving seats is not allowed.

• Attendees will not be able to leave their seats to take pictures. Graduation picture packages will be available for purchase during the event.

• Formal dress code is required for all guests and attendees.

• Children under the age of 7 will not be permitted to attend the event. Children aged 7 and above must have a valid ticket for entry.

• No chewing gum, food or drink will be permitted inside the hall except for water.

• Kindly limit movement inside the hall. Should you need to leave the hall kindly take a pass.

• We ask guests to refrain calling graduates on stage as mobile use on stage is prohibited.

• The event will begin ONTIME at 6 PM SHARP

GRADUATION DAY – Student instructions:

• Graduates should arrive by 4:30 to the event location on the day of the event.

  • Once you report for attendance you may spend time to take pictures, etc.

• The dress code is Black/White formal shirt, tie, and slacks for the gentlemen and ladies in formal pants or dresses/skirts of an appropriate length and no excessively high heels. NO GUM IS ALLOWED.


• Any violation to the dress code might not allow you on stage.


• Water will be made available for you during the ceremony.


• Note that mobile usage will not be permitted once commencement procedures have begun (during march or on stage) as we want you to be presented in the very best image.

Make sure that your phone is out of sight. MOBILE USE DURING THE MARCH OR ON STAGE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. We will have dedicated photographers during this time.

• No early dismissal is allowed.

Dear parents and students Grade 3 to 9,

Starting this week, students will participate in Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Fall testing sessions in Grades 3 till 9.

The MAP Test is a computerized adaptive test which helps teachers, parents, and administrators improve learning for all students and make informed decisions to promote a child's academic growth. The students will be tested in Reading, Language Usage, Math and Science.

This test will be used to assess student progress and adapt learning as needed.

Students will be tested during ICT sessions, so please avoid absence in the coming weeks. We will be orienting our students and taking them through the instructions carefully, and a PowerPoint presentation with details will be posted on google classroom under “ICT topic”.

In case of absences during testing, a make-up will be re-scheduled with valid excuses. However, the testing windows will close after the make-up and students who are absent will have a score of invalid on the MAP report.

We are excited to launch “Donate to Educate” our school’s very first charity campaign,
running from Sunday, 27th September to Sunday, 29th November 2026.
“A child who is given the chance to learn is a child who is given the chance to soar.”
Many children around us are missing out on school — not because they lack potential, but
because they simply cannot afford it. Through Donate to Educate, we hope to change that, one
child at a time.
Last year, thanks to all our ELSIAN family, we raised 202,026 L.E. and helped 626 needy
students stay in school. This year, our goal is to reach 700 students, raising a total of 300,000
L.E. — and with your support, we hope to exceed it, just as we did last year.
It doesn’t take much to make a real difference — every contribution, big or small, brings us
closer to giving a child the chance to learn, grow, and dream of a brighter future.

Over the coming weeks, your children will be learning more about the campaign at school
through fun activities, announcements, and Student Council initiatives. It’s a wonderful chance
