EFIS-October-KG Career Week Volunteers 2025-2026
Dear Parents,
IN TEACHING FOR LIFE it is important to guide our students and expose them to the various fields of study, careers and industries that they may consider in the future. It is also important that our students learn from success stories of families, staff and community members.
We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting several guest speakers throughout the school during our career weeks
We’re looking for energetic presenters from a broad range of careers to give our students the opportunity to explore a variety of careers and learn how education is connected to a successful future.
Please fill in the following Google form maximum by Thursday, February 5th ,2026 in case you can volunteer to be one of these presenters:

You will then receive a phone call with details about date ,time and location of the session .
N.B Please send your kids out of uniform on Thursday, February 12th, dressed in a costume portraying what they want to be when they grow up. They will have in class presentations about the career of their dreams and they will share the hopes of the difference they will make in the world.

DEAR EFIS PARENTS,
WE ARE DELIGHTED TO INFORM YOU THAT OUR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY, 18TH DECEMBER. WE INVITE ALL STUDENTS TO JOIN IN THE FESTIVE SPIRIT BY WEARING CHRISTMAS COLORS ON THIS SPECIAL DAY.
THE CELEBRATION WILL INCLUDE A DISH PARTY. WE KINDLY ASK EACH FAMILY TO SEND FINGER FOOD FOR THE ENTIRE CLASS TO ENJOY. THIS WILL HELP MAKE OUR CELEBRATION A MEMORABLE AND ENJOYABLE EVENT FOR ALL THE STUDENTS.

EFIS – October -Fire Drill Practice 2025-2026
Dear KG Parents,
We would like to inform you that our students have been introduced this week to the Fire Drill procedures. They learnt the appropriate steps to follow during a school evacuation, including how to exit the building quickly, safely, and without fear or panic.
As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students, the school’s Safety Policy thoroughly outlines all procedures related to emergency situations. Therefore, we will be practicing with the children the steps required during fire drills and school evacuations.
We kindly ask for your support by reinforcing this information at home and helping your child understand the importance of these procedures.
Please note that both announced and unannounced fire drills will take place starting Sunday, 7th December 2025.

Book Fair KG 2025-2026

Dear Parents,
Our annual book fair will be held From Sunday, November 23 to
Wednesday, November 26 in our school to encourage our students to read.

Price Range: 100 to 800 LE.
process of buying books:
Students will visit the BOOK FAIR during break time, your child will take home a wish list filled with the books titles that he/she is interested in, along with its price.. For Kg and Grade 1, 2, 3 students kindly, sign the wish list to approve the selected book(s) and place it inside an envelope with the book(s) financial value.
The envelope will be handed to floor supervisor or class teacher who will bring the books to the students in their classrooms.
Your support in encouraging your children to participate will make this event a joyful and enriching experience. Reading not only enhances academic skills but also sparks imagination and creativity.

Happy Children's Day
We're thrilled to celebrate Children's Day with our wonderful students!
Children's Day is a special occasion to honor the joy, creativity, and boundless potential of our young learners. It's a day to recognize their laughter, dreams, and imagination - and to remind ourselves how important it is to nurture and support them as they grow.
To make this celebration extra special, we've planned a fun-filled event on Thursday, November 20th, 2025. The day's activities will also highlight the global message of Children's Day - helping children understand and appreciate their rights.
Here's what's waiting for our students:

Flying balloons (Please send a helium balloon with your child and help them write their dream on a small paper and attach it to the balloon.)

Children are invited to come out of uniform for the day.

EFIS- 6October KG 1&2 -First Open House Invitation 2025-2026
Dear EFIS Parents,
It is our pleasure to invite you to our Open House on Thursday, 16th October 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
After discovering and getting to know our students during the first five weeks, we are delighted to meet with you to share feedback and discuss their progress.
To ensure an organized and safe Open House, kindly note that meeting slot reservations are mandatory if you wish to meet with the teachers. Each meeting slot will be 5 minutes long.

Please read the following guidelines to help ensure a smooth and successful Open House:
- Make sure you sign up and reserve a meeting slot.
- Reservation begins now and will end on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, at midnight.
- Arrive at the designated class 2 minutes before your reserved meeting time.
- If you arrive late, you may need to reschedule for another day.
- Please reserve the first available time slot.
- Students are not allowed to remain at school after dismissal time as there will be no supervision before the Open House.
- Any students brought to the Open House are under the parent’s responsibility.
- If you are unable to find a free slot for a certain teacher, please reply to this email with your child’s name, class, and the teacher you wish to meet so we can help arrange an alternative time.N.B. Art and music will have designated rooms, where you can register your name in case you need to meet any of them

In case of approval please sign and send back maximum by Wednesday 8 October 2025 .
If we do not receive the approval the student will not be vaccinated/ undergo the test

Dear EFIS Parents,
We are excited to inform you that the KG1 & KG2 school photo will be taken next Thursday, October 2nd ,2025. All students are expected to participate in the school photos.
Also, KG2 Graduation Photo will take place on the same day.
Kindly consider the following:
- On the day of the photo, please make sure your child is dressed in neat and ironed school uniform.
- No P.E. attire (uniform) is accepted even if they have P.E. lessons.
- No strange hair styles or haircuts are accepted.
- No hair gel, mousse, highlights or accessories are accepted.
- Girls must wear their white or black hair bands.
- Only white socks are allowed.
N.B.: Please avoid being absent, as the graduation photo will not be taken again if a student is absent.
School Trip KG 1δ2 2025–2026
School Trip
Dear Parents,
At EFIS, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom, and our upcoming trip to Dondon Park – Saqqara is designed to combine education, exploration, and fun in a meaningful way. The goal of this trip is to encourage our KG students to develop curiosity, creativity, and teamwork while enjoying hands-on experiences in a safe and engaging environment.
Since we celebrated Animal Day last week, the trip will also provide a wonderful opportunity for our students to see and learn about different animals in the park, making their learning experience more authentic and memorable.
During the day, our students will participate in a variety of exciting activities such as a welcome party with an animation team, arts and pottery workshops, baking sessions, and planting activities that nurture responsibility and care for nature. In addition, they will enjoy active play in the trampoline park, promoting physical development and teamwork through movement and fun.

This well-rounded program ensures that our students will return with unforgettable memories, new skills, and strengthened bonds with their classmates and teachers.
